Most of the leading high jumps from 2012 compiled into one video. There were some jumps which I would have liked to include but could not find any video footage, such as Grabarz's 2.37m jump in Lausanne and Gordeeva's 2.04m jump in Eberstadt. I do not own any of the footage or make any profit from the video. So

Excellent competition! Ivan Ukhov 1st with 2.39m pb. (Sorry the stream crapped out during the replays of his 2.39 jump). Andrey Silnov 2nd with 2.37m. Aleksandr Shustov 3rd with 2.35m. Alexey Dmitrik unfortunately misses out on an Olympic spot, coming 4th with 2.33m. Ukhov's 2.39m jump is at 16:20

Dick Fosbury visited New Zealand recently as a guest speaker at an event commemorating NZ's female Olympic gold medallists. He kindly took some time out to discuss his experiences as a high jumper and also take a training session with some local high jumpers.

Javier Sotomayor jumping 2.30m in London on 24/6/1984. This was just a month after he jumped his world youth record of 2.33m.
